1. Overview

This policy explains how d14lab's Portfolio Position Tracker ("the Service") uses cookies and similar browser storage. Under the EU ePrivacy rules and GDPR, we ask for your consent before storing non-essential data on your device.

2. Strictly necessary

These are required for the Service to work. They cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set only when you sign in.

• Session cookies — set by our authentication provider (NextAuth) to keep you signed in securely. Typical names include authjs.session-token (or a secure variant over HTTPS).

3. Preferences (optional)

With your consent, we store UI settings in your browser's localStorageso they persist between visits. If you choose "Necessary only", the app still works but these settings may not be remembered.

• Your cookie consent choice itself

4. Analytics

We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel). If we add optional analytics in the future, we will only enable them after you opt in via the cookie banner.

5. Your choices

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all optional storage or limit the Service to necessary cookies only. You can change your mind at any time:

• Use Cookie settings in the site footer to reopen the consent banner.
• Clear site data in your browser (cookies and local storage for this domain).
